    C J Samson is an excellent author. This book, part of the Shardlake series, is very readable, compelling and one of the best reads I’ve enjoyed in recent months.

    The plot thickens

    Oh to be a medieval lawyer. C.J. Sampson does not disappoint with the continuing life of Matthew Shardlake. Fighting adversity Shardlake fights his corner and uses common sense in detection. I long for another after the six.
