    Amazing art

    From the beginning to the end Abel tells crooning story which every song seems to progressively flow. Proving not only is the man a Grammy nominated singer but also a talented story teller . I was ready to write him off as I had heard the hits of the albums ( save your tears blinding lights and heartless on the radio 2 much to count but snow child was a rare hidden gem I like that there is pain sweat and tears to his work every album is diffrent every song is unique I look forward to his next album

    I thought this might've been a cheap knockoff

    Firstly, the music is epic! Mesmerizing! My problem is strickly with the packaging. I still prefer CDs over downloads because I enjoy reading the song lyrics (and sometimes singing along) and looking at the pics. It's satisfying to have something physical to hold to substantiate my purchase. None of that, however, is included. Nor are there any song titles (not even on the CD itself). As for pictures, they're all pretty much the same -- of the Weeknd with makeup to make him look like he's beaten up and bleeding. But there's no explanation as to the meaning or message to this theme. Had there been lyrics included, I may have been able to discern his overall concept, but it is impossible for me to understand what he's saying, especially on the first few tracks. Sonically, this borders on a masterpiece. But as an overall presentation, it feels like no effort was made to provide any substantial content beyond the music itself. I thought I may have bought a cheap Chinese pirated knockoff, but after some searching I realized this is what you get. Apparently, only of the LP version includes even the song titles! For that reason, it makes little sense to buy the physical CD. You're getting the same thing at a lower cost by just buying a download.
