    Vintage Neil Diamond

    WOW I had this in vinyl but lost it many years ago so I was so happy to find it in CD format. I truly believe this is the best Neil Diamond Concert EVER, however that CD cover still gets to me. It is a little weird and can lead to some rather weird thoughts. Now the music OMG totally awesome after listening to this CD all the other studio recordings of the same songs just do not compare in anyway. I have Hot August Night 2 and Live in America they just do not compare to HOT AUGUST NIGHT the original. Fer sure a 5***** concert and CD.

    Neil does Elvis

    Was looking for a great Live rendition of Brother Love's, and this disappointed. Overall, Neil was performing more than singing. Seemed over the top, like an Elvis thing - which is Ok for Elvis! Trying to sing along was difficult due to Neil choosing to forge a new tempo or emphasize words differently. Still a must have though, for Fans!

    I purchased 3 copies as this was an ZlP that was always playing at my parents home, my sisters house and my car. My nieces grew up on the cassette, I had the LP. I figured it would be an out of the blue surprise to get them all the newly remastered copy. They loved it and of course brought back many great memories for me having grown up in the 70’s. Neil, Chicago, Boston and ABBA were on high rotation on my turntable.

I now have 4 copies of this; will never tire of hearing these songs. So if you like "Sweet Caroline", "Crunchy Granola Suite", "Cherry, Cherry" & "Red Red Wine" you will love this.
