A Title that Thrills, a Book that THRILLS!!
Lovers of pro cycling generally and Italian Stallion bikes in particular will die a thousand ecstatic deaths with every page of this book. It is at once a reference book and a romantic ode to Italy's sublime and mythic cycling . . . "industry"? - no, way of life. All the brands I had heard of, and many I had not, are here, with exquisite photos, stories, history, plus "The Greats Who Rode Brand A in Epic Race X" (not just Merckx on that Colnago!) This book is hard to find, period, so all copies I've seen are at ridiculous prices; but since my faith in it was rewarded ten-fold, I can live with the $100+ I paid for it. Caution: never lend to fellow bikies, or the book may disappear into the ether.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
