    About Face is not for everyone

    This record is not for everyone. If you are a hardcore Pink Floyd fan and enjoy Gilmour's Pink Floyd records A Momentary Lapse of Reasoning and The Division Bell this is a must. This is a great follow up from his self titled debut Album "David Gilmour". Neither album sound a lot like Pink Floyd. These are records that are products of there time. The guitar playing is no less impressive then his work with Floyd but the songs are more centered on his playing/singing with standard radio type rock songs. About Face is good record with some moments that give hints on what his future releases would be with Pink Floyd and his next solo record that wouldn't be released for more than 20 years.
