      Simple timer, easy to use

      Pros: Relatively easy to set up and program. Built-in backup holds memory during power outages. No battery required. Cons: Only has 2-prong plug. Not an issue for lamps but cannot be used with 3-prong devices like an air conditioner or power strip. Bottom line: If you want something basic and don't mind only being able to use 2-prong plugs, this is a good choice.

      Small timer that's hard to program.

      The timer does what it's supposed to do. However, it doesn't keep accurate time very well. Runs about 5 seconds slow every day which adds up over time. Also, these timers are harder to program then they should be. I have other digital timers that are extremely easy to program. But with these, you have to fool around with them to get to the function you want if you don't have the manual in front of you.

      Nice timer, easy to program

      When I first received the timer, I actually programmed the on and off times without reading the instructions. I later read the instructions to ensure the programming was done correctly. Not blocking the other receptacle is a nice feature.

      Fairly easy to program but make sure you check the settings twice. Hard to see tiny words. Does work well and shuts Off/On light.

      Only daily programmable

      This is not a 7 days programmable timer. It has TWO programs that let you set in daily. I can use it to turn on my outdoor string lights (or/and Christmas tree lights) in the morning and evening every day. As in winter, you can set it 6am to 8am and 4pm to midnight 1am. It has two time slots that let you set up your outlet "ON" twice in a day. Easy to set up and it works well.
