    A wonderful piece of history!

    I loved looking at the drawings of the houses and the floor plans. These homes were NEW two years before my Dad was born! The kitchens were so sparse! Appliances have come a long way!

    Gift for someone

    It will be a great reference/ resource for someone restoring a home of the same time period. Each page has a picture of the model of a different home. There are floor plans, measurements, and descriptions of the types of lumber and materials that were sold with the kits.

    LOVE THIS BOOK

    Lots of info. If you have an old home this book can help you bring it back to it's glory days and undo what others ruined by painting over wood trim. The book is in black and white. Color depictions would have been nice.

    Small houses of the 20’s

    We were curious about some houses in our neighborhood , I purchased the book to make comparisons of some local houses . The details of some of the houses could incorporated into houses we’re working on . A little more observation might reveal some Sears houses in the neighborhood .
