    Handy cassette recorder

    This is a great recorder - it has a pause feature that lets you skip over periods of silence. On playback you can change the speed of playback so you can quickly go over routine items, and slow down if there is a lot of information that you want to capture.

    Avoid the Sony TCS-30D

    Everything recorded on this sounds horrible. The speaker sounds horrible. Pre-recorded cassettes sound OK through headphones but not as good as other walkmans. The second day the volume control stopped working. Would only work turned all the way down for full blast. Nothing in between.
