    Brendan Gleeson Strikes Again

    Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle strike a unique chemistry in this brilliant, understated comedy. Applause to Writer, Director John Michael McDonagh for capturing the wit and wisdom of police cultures at odds with the criminal world, and each other. The supporting cast is made up of accomplished actors. An engaging, intelligent, outrageous piece of film making.

    Not really

    Whole lot of swearing, guess Irish love the f word a whole lot and think it’s funny. Story about Irish cop and black FBI cop working together to catch the bad guys. Humor is the race card, not many blacks in Ireland. Irish cop steps into it all the time and doesn’t understand what’s wrong. Black FBI cop thinks he’s doing it on purpose, he is but they till become friends.

    Still a great movie

    I may have missed something, but this edition appears to have been edited. In the original version I saw a few years ago the young lad who finds the guns has an interaction with the Guard when as a reward for finding the guns, the Guard lets him shoot a handgun. Also there is an interaction between the shot Guard's wife and Brendan Gleeson that is not shown here, when they are in a bar, and she asks him "are you coming on to me?" "Oh God no, well a little bit"
