Great book, as described. When USPS lost the package, the seller responded to my message with some suggestions about how to locate it. I put in some time with the USPS bureaucracy and eventually the package arrived.

This Bible was practically brand new but not in the box. It still had the Cambridge warranty card, and the ribbons were still tucked from the factory. It is an excellent Bible in excellent condition, and at a great price too. It was not packaged very well, simply slipped into a plastic shipping bag and sealed (no other protection) but it did arrive undamaged. Shipping was super fast. However, there were initials imprinted on the cover, not mentioned in the listing. Otherwise, perfect!

    Compelling reading

I am looking forward to reading the entire series of Earths children books. The story line really takes you to a time and place that you can imagine may have been real. I read the 1st two books when they first came out many years ago, but now I intend to read all six without breaking up the story to wait for the next book.

  • Most critical review

    Not the same as pictured.

I was not sent this exact book as pictured. I was sent a hard cover and I wanted the exact clan of the cave bear in the image because it’s the one missin from my set. Was very disappointed to not get the exact book pictured in listing.

  • Excellent!

My girlfriend's Mom suggested that she read this book, she said it was one of the best books she's ever read...sadly, she passed away shortly after. In deep grief very little could console her or even make her smile. I purchased this book for her and when she opened it I finally saw that smile again. Now when I see her reading it my heart feels relief bc I feel like I'm some small way she has met up with her Mom again in the pages of her book. Thank you for helping to make this happen.

  • Good title

The most wonderful book ever written. I have read my copy dozens of times and loved it so much I bought this copy for my daughter. J.M.A. uses very descriptive language that brings the story to life in your mind.

  • One of a kind. Don't miss it

I read this in the eighties and loved it. My mother had recommended it. I recently thought of it when remembering my favorite books, particularly those about women and by female writers. It was before it's time in so many ways that I wondered if it would be as good now. It was. Couldn't find it in book form at the library and didn't want to just listen. There is no other book like it. Unfortunately Hollywood got a hold of it and put Rachel Welch in the leading roll, sexy skins and all. What a debacle, to say the least.
