    Excellent! Well-acted and historically fascinating.

    Island At War is an excellent PBS series that is both historically informative and shows the effect that war and invasion can have on people. The characters are very engaging and the series effectively captures the look and feel of that time. I really enjoyed it very much!

    The drama and acting are as good as it gets. Very engaging stories of what a German occupation really meant. Some of the Germans are great people you would love to know in a setting without the war.

    A Brilliant Series!

    One of the best WWII dramas I've seen. Characters are completely fleshed out and varied, story line is super engaging and it hooks you right from the beginning of the first episode. This is brilliant drama, and they don't come around very often.
