    The magic of creativity and childhood friendship

    The children like this movie so much, they named their nearby creek "Terabithia." The movie and the separate book are both very good. There is a death in the movie, so parents should be aware. This shows the creative friendship of two rather lonely children. Recommended.

    Teacher Used BTTB

    I used this for an end of the year "treat" after we read the book in a somewhat remedial 7th grade reading class! Though it adds some supernatural characters, I don't know how else the filmmakers would have shown the main two characters' imaginary world in Terabithia
