    Kato compact unitrack turnout

    I use these for HON30 & On18 modules using T-Trak bases. I add .080 styrene strip under the kato unitrack to raise the ballast even with woodland scenics thinnest foam. I paint the track with vallejo paints and washes to age it. I use silvergrey and flat earth for the ties, red brown for the rail and wash with raw umber wash. I prefer kato turnouts to tomix they seem harder to split the switch. They have the same radius as Shinohara and peco.

    Great but don't use it on the main line

    Fits standard KATO track perfectly. Keep in mind this is not as easy on pass-through trains as the typically more gradual 15 deg turnout. I had to move this off my main line to a branch line.
