Watch each animal roam around in its assigned exhibit while interacting with it through various hands-on mini-games and activities. Your primary goal is to ensure that each animal is well cared for and happy by gaining its trust over time. You'll also be able to create an unlimited number of monkeys, lions, bears, and other creatures with the built-in animal creator feature. Information on the various species and factoids are provided on <i>National Geographic</i> animal fact cards, and you can earn achievements and special unlockables during the course of play. In addition, the Wii version lets friends join your zoo to explore the 20 different exhibits. The game's developer, Blue Fang, previously worked on the Zoo Tycoon series.

    World of Zoo

    The world of zoo game has decent graphics for an older game. It's perfect for to teaching some pet care responsibility to children without being too serious about it. The animals are cute and it's fun to create your own unique zoo pets with the wide range of changes in the creature creator. The mini games aren't horribly challenging but do serve to break up the routine actions of animal care. I believe that the consequences of the unhappy pets snapping at the camera give it a more realistic feel than some games that say "oops you almost made a mistake, but corrected it nicely". The game is worth owning because it's a fun challenge without the risk of exposing children to violent or inappropriate game content.

    Great for kids, but gameplay a little difficult

    My 5 year old loved it for this old Wii the grandparents have, but it's a little difficult for him to play but fun for us all to get involved.
