    My Wave

    Soundgarden-Superunknown.... Incredible album. Helped to shape and define 1990s alternative rock music. Sadly we no longer have Chris Cornell with us. Cornell was Soundgarden's lead singer. His voice will live on forever. Superunknown contains two major hits that were incredible and of course they were Spoonman and My Wave. There were a few other hits that stemmed from that album as well, Black Hole Sun and Fell On Black Days. And who would dare forget the song She Likes Surprises?? I have the original 1994 vinyl pressing of this album on blue vinyl but this new and remastered version has more punch and definition to the sound quality. If you somehow managed to not hear Soundgarden Superunknown, then I strongly suggest you purchase this vinyl record and really get ready for some amazing ...

    Good reissue but not the ultimate sound.

    This reissue is not the best in terms of dynamic range, but it sounds pretty good and offers a different EQ to original 1994 CD. Also comes with a voucher to get 128kpbs mp3 vinyl rip (aka needledrop) of the album which is quite unusual as for the most part you get the same CD version only in m4a or 320kpbs mp3. Packaging is quite good, polylined sleeves, nice booklet (which has some missing lyrics though). Also, vinyl weighs 200g each not 180 as advertised on the front sticker. Pressed by GZ vinyl.

" Anyway, I bought this album ", to my surprise, I was impressed!! I collect album's, the original album's I have all play much better in (SQ). Much deeper and much better separation than the Newer copies. Take it for what will. We all want that rich JAMM and this album does have it !
