I recently started painting again.....on rocks no less! LOL I needed some specific instructions on getting some of the "exotic" colors I wanted for some artsy designs on my rocks. This book is an excellent value among several others, but what caused me to buy it was not only it's price, but it's user friendliness. Would buy it again.

I have been painting for 4 years and struggle to get the right mix in various of my paintings. Having had 3 different teachers over that time, I had at least 3 different directions to follow in "color mixing". Finally, this book gives the proper proportions of tube paints to mix together to get the right color - instead of just another color wheel. This is now my #1 reference book!
