Disappointing for speaker cable use
As a regular user of Neutrik Speakon connectors I wanted to use this as a lockable jack connector on professional gauge speaker cable, but found it unsuitable and not up to the usual standard achieved by Neutrik. They have crammed too much into a small space and ended up with a rather flimsy product. It may be fine for more lightweight cables but then the advantage of a lockable connector would be lessened. They don't come any better than Neutrik
This is as good as all the other Neutrik connectors. The red clip stops the jack from being accidentally pulled out but it is so easy to release the jack one-handed when you want. Perfect!
