Genuine HP product, within expiry date, very cheap price
I was very pleased to get my hands on this product at the price quoted. It is a genuine HP cartridge, so no problems with compatibility and the print quality is excellent. The reason I purchased it was the price - roughly the same as compatible cartridges.

Pay for the proper ink
Every page I print is smudged. I have had to print five pages of the same thing so it is readable. That isn't a saving by any means. I have found myself here about to order proper ink just because I have had enough of being embarrassed when my barcode isn't readable by the posting courier. I purchased these to save money but have done the opposite.

Really good value
Had difficulty fitting this, but after a very nice message from the company discovered it was me being stupid! Maybe a little note to tell people to remove the back protector - for silly old gimmers like me! It is printing excellently at the moment - can't tell if it will last longer than ordinary inks as I have not had it long. Would definitely buy again!

The genuine ink works best of all with HP printers. Very often I find HP and other big printing companies (Epsom etc) make it as difficult as possible to use other brands of cartridge, with the machine complaining constantly about it not being genuine - (pop up screens on your computer, stalling to confirm you want to proceed every other print etc), so it is usually a lot less hassle to buy the original article BUT shop around, they are shockingly expensive. With patience you might find a bargain on eBay or Amazon; if of course you have the time. If I wanted to use another inferior ink that would be my business and my decision, after all I bought and paid for printer. However, as stated, it can be costly time wise to not buy HP. The 301XL lasts much longer than standard, about 2.5 times ... The genuine ink works best of all with HP printers. Good quality, long life cartridge
I have been disappointed in Compatible cartridges. They just don't seem to work with my printer. XL cartridges last so much longer and with good quality print. Usually buy when there is an offer on them.
