    I had difficulties fitting the hinge to toilet lid, they were slightly smaller. Used the existing hinge and screws. Otherwise, happy to finally find hinge that fit toilet cover. And the help from the seller.

    Hinges cheaper than new big seat.

    It’s a bit of a bummer that when I bought my house I inherited one of these ‘space saver’ toilets and their unique toilet seats. The last one that broke 15 years ago cost £75 to replace and when a hinge snapped a few weeks ago I was determined not to pay £100+ for a big seat. These hinges were less than half the price and were easy to replace so that the big seat has been given a renewed life.

    Made it work. mix old parts with new and it should work for you.

    The parts are solid, however you will most likely find the fit is not exactly the same based on how old your seat is. Part ended up working for me, but the screws shipped were way too small (about half the size needed for the hole). I was able to use my old screws and made the new parts work. Toilet seat is well sat, but i am worried about the seat cover which may come loose due to improper fit. Overall, the price is pretty expensive but it was less than buying a whole new seat and i could not find anyone else selling this part, so i am happy with the purchase and recommend if you are in the same situation as me.

    The only replacement and not good value

    This was the correct replacement hinge set for the specific Ideal Standard toilet set set. The original hinge had been poorly welded/brazed and was a weak point. This could be seen as a poor design or a production issue and will no doubt happen again in a few years time. As this replacement was the only one that was compatible with the original toilet seat it had to be this replacement or a completely new toilet and seat would be required. The price for this replacement set is overly expensive for the items comprising the replacement set.

    Very poor quality

    Have to replace these hinges every few years, this is my 5th set, they just rust away. Very disappointing as the rest of the toilet has been fine.

    Don't buy

    Holes are half a hole out. Screws are wrong size ie a lot smaller than either required or the holes in the hinge. Had to bend several parts. I don't think these are genuine OEM parts.
