    New print cartridges better value than Cannon

    I hadn’t used my Cannon printer for some considerable time and of course when I did, it didn’t print properly, so I searched eBay for an economic alternative and found these. They arrived very quickly. At first the black cartridge didn’t work but after wiping the contacts with a tissue it’s fine.

    The more you pay for a printer, the better usage you'll get out of the cartridges..

    These Canon caertridges do give a decent quality print, but thet're pricey and don't last vey long. It's not this sellers fault. The cheaper the printer, the more cartidges you'll use up. It goes the ther way too - if you decide to pay £100+ for a printer, you can expect the cartridges to last you a good time. It's not just Canon either. This rule seems to go right across the "Brand Spectrum".

    This cartridge does not have any ink coming out of it.

    Just installed the black cartridge but no black ink printed, Checked another ink cartridge, which worked. Computer recognised new cartridge installed, but no black ink even on the bottom of the cartridge. Completely Dry. Tried wiping with damp cloth as per instructions, but nothing happenend. The printer head is not clogged as printing colour perfectly.

    Poor quality

    #these are text quality cartridges only. Colours are weak and not suitable for photos only poor quality colour printing. Black cartridge printed only outer 50% of characters and replacement brought up error messages stopping printer from working, Waiting for higher quality replacement.

    Disappointing

    The black ink ran out after doing six pages, I was printing vouchers, not even full pages of text. The colour is still going. I would not buy again. I have had much better reconditioned inks from elsewhere.
