      The only recordable DVDs that I use

      Have tried various brands of DVDs and Sony are the only ones with consistent quality and very low failure rates. Even some of the better known brands don't perform as well. This is the only kind I buy now and haven't lost anything on these that I can ever remember. You can find cheaper ones, which are fine for temporary storage, but if you want your data or movies to last, get SONY.

      Authentic?

      Not sure if they are real. Very difficult to tell which side is the recording or writing side. I have been buying SONY blanks for years and I have never seen this. The third one I used for a data disc did not work. No other problems noticed so far other than the above.

      Great DVD

      I use Sony DVD-Rs for many years. I use them since I tested them with other brands of DVDs. They burn in a high quality picture, last a longer time than other DVDs. The bad DVDs in each spindle is almost null or none compared with other brands.

      Great dvd"s

      I have a camcorder that I take pictures of my grandkids playing baseball and football. I transfer these to a disc and give my daughters a copy. I also take videos when we go on vacation and transfer them to dvd's. I use to have problems with other dvd's but so far haven't had any trouble with Sony Thanks these will last for several months John
