    Easy to install, saved purchasing a new iron

    If you have purchased a German made Rowenta iron, you probably love it and you probably paid quite a bit for it. So you can imagine my upset when my new puppy chewed through the cord of mine. I figure I would replace it with a generic cord by taking off the bottom and loosening a couple of screws. NOT. Way more complicated. I found this at a reasonable price. It was easy to take off the old unit and put this on. Saved my iron and saved me a lot of money. Now I just have to keep it away from the dog and all will be well.

    Fixed Auto-Shutoff Problem

    My iron shut off after several seconds of use. Shaking it did not trip the automatic shutoff. This new cord and sensor made my iron as good as new.

    Easy fix for a broken iron

    When my iron stopped working, I started searching to buy a new one. Rowenta irons are not cheap though. So I stumbled across some posts stating others had simply replaced the internal board and it fixed the issue. This made the most sense to me as the iron plate and outside shell were still in excellent condition. The new parts were easy to install and my iron works like new again for a fraction of the cost to replace it. Very happy with the purchase.

    Exact oem part

    Exact OEM power cord to repair an iron that had been dropped. Easy fix after removing three star fasteners. The iron control board is part of this assembly.
