    If looking for an article with excellent photographs of Socotra, look elsewhere.

    The low rating is specific for the photographs included in the article about Socotra. With the exception of two photographs, the photos could have been taken anywhere. They were so non descript as to specific geographic region that they looked like stock photos that anyone could pull off the internet and insert into any old article about the third world. They may as well have been AI generated. As to the rest of this magazine, I couldn't say as I normally wouldn't buy such a magazine as I consider it trash. I was only interested in the article about Socotra and expected excellent photographs of Socotra such that one could not see anywhere else and would know at once the pictures could only have been taken on the Island of Socotra. I could not recommend Condé Nast Traveller Uk Edition ...
