Nice and smooth
I bought a pair of these for carp fishing in France. Loaded with 15lb line they cast well and the retrieve is very smooth. The only problem I had was if you let the line go slack it can go behind the spool but once you realise this I had no further problems. The reels handled carp to 40lb and I am sure they will handle much larger. The free spool works well and playing the fish on the main drag proved to be very good.
