    Smurf Time!

    The grandkids love this movie. If it can keep them quiet and engaged for an hour it is well worth the money! The plot is not over the top or above their heads. The color and quality of the movie is great. All in all, a fun movie for the whole family. Must admit I have put it on the TV when the kids aren't here.

    SUCKS~!

    My Kid loves the newer smurf lost village - so I got her this one. Turns out lost village is NOT a sequel, it is a reboot because this movie was terrible. Its live action with computer smurfs pasted in - in New York. My daughter hated it, it sucks.

    The Smurfs

    The movie is very much made in the spirit of the cartoons and the live action mixed with cartoon special effects works really well. The key thing though is the performance of Hank Azaria as Gargamel. He is perfectly cast, a panto villain. I loved him. Doogie Howser is perfectly likable as is his screen wife. It's a nice movie to watch, entertaining and surely ideal for young children. It is really quite an old fashioned children's movie and it is very colourful and with a lot of goodness. If you want a nice easy to watch movie for your innocent younger children then this is definitely for you or for adults who have never lost their inner child.

    fantastic movie!!!!!!

    The Smurfs make their first 3D trip to the big screen in Columbia Pictures'/Sony Pictures Animation's hybrid live-action and animated family comedy, The Smurfs. When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the Smurfs out of their village, they're forced through a portal, out of their world and into ours, landing in the middle of New York's Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

    Good. Not great!

    It's a good movie but the disk, itself sticks a lot. I ve tried wiping the disk with a disk cloth but it still sticks, however, my son loves this movie anyhow!
