These are one the MOST OVER RATED earphones I've EVER tried, and yes, I've tried/ owned Beats by Dre, everyone says OMG YEAH CLARITY BASS SOUND STAGE ECT... The mid range on these is literally painful to listen to, it's way too high, and ear piercing, highs are too sharp, ear piercing, and there is basically no bass, the bass that's there, is SUPER drowned out by the mids and highs, not only that, but you'd think since the drivers don't move much they won't distort right? WRONG, at anything higher than 85% volume on an iPhone, iPod or any iDevice in general, you might as well get plastic bags, put them to your ears, and rub them around, because that's what they sound like. DON'T LET THE NAME FOOL YOU! Yes Klipsch is generally a really good brand to go with, I myself own several Klipsch products, like home theater systems, sub woofers, ect... but they should stick to home theater, because their attempt a mobile devices was an absolute failure, the reviews on these are all good, and you know why? It's because the people that usually buy these are people who have money, and own other Klipsch products, so they go directly from their apple earphones, to these, or they switch from the Skull Candy earphones, to these, yes, these are better than Skull Candy and Apple earphones, abut no, they aren't worth anything more than $35, and that's me being generous, I've tried hundreds of different earphones, everything from Bose, to fake beats, and authentic beats (the fakes sound better than the authentic lol) and I have to say, I've spent 8$ on earphones that put these to shame, something that you can go get right now that will blow these out of the water, are the JVC Marsh mellows 1st or 2nd gen, neither have as good of clarity as these (not saying these are crystal clear, because they're not) but they don't have painful mids/highs, they have extremely good amount of bass that is deep and wide sounding, and just overall sound better, those are $12, I have purchased several. Not to mention, these have mediocre build quality, guess there's a reason you see so many refurbished and repaired S4s online.Read full review
After having to replace Sony Earbuds almost every 6 mos. I tried these to see if the remote features will last longer. I have no feedback to provide on that as of yet but the inline cords seem to be bigger and controls are easier to use than the Sony controls. I don't think the the bass response is as rich as the Sony but the comfort level seems about the same. The price point was slightly more expensive but if the outlive the Sony life expectancy I will be happy. For me, longevity will be the key.

I bought the Klipsch S4i II because I was not satisfied with my current pair of headphones (Apple EarPods) and I heard a lot of good things about them. All of the good things I heard were true. These headphones are extremely comfortable, provide excellent noise isolation, and provide truly superior audio quality. Unlike many headphones, the S4i II's have a flat audio response; meaning that all of the lows, mids, and highs are well balanced. This doesn't mean that they lack in bass, in fact they have an excellent base response, one of the best I've heard. With these headphones I have been able to hear subtle parts of songs that I had never heard before, which is a truly amazing thing. The headphones are also very well built; they have a flat, sturdy cable that resists tangling, an easy to use multi-function remote with mic (the mic has fantastic audio quality and works great with phone calls), and they also come with 4 different sizes of silicon ear tips, a shirt clip, and a carrying case. The only downsides I have discovered about these headphones is that the multi-function remote is a little large, and the carrying case is a little small and often difficult to fit the headphones in. Attempting to stuff them in will not work because the flat anti-tangle cord constantly wants to expand into a straight line, but I have found that the easiest way to fit the headphones in the case is to wrap them around 4 of your fingers and place them in neatly. Of course these are very minor disadvantages and don't hinder the fact that these are amazingly well made headphones.Read full review
I've been a fan of Klipsch headphones since my old ProMedia GMX digital surround speakers were new. Anything you can buy now is just as good. The sound quality from the S4i is fantastic, and fit well without causing a rash from extended wear. My only complaints are that the control stick for the volume is large enough to make wrapping it up a pain, and the headphone jack is it's greatest weakness, if you're not careful the wires freeway easily right at the 3.5 jack. I've replaced the jack on my previous pair, but no matter how good you are with a soldering iron, the sound is never quite the same. If you're careful with that you're golden for years!

klipsch earbuds has a great balanced sound for all genres of music. very comfortable in the ear and isolation is good by placing them properly in the ear. the mic for me is the only downside because it adds a little bit of weight on the cords. I've tried the new r6i, didn't like it because their base heavy. I'm sticking to these for a while and it comes with a 2 year warranty from the manufacturer.
