    pump it by vacuum

    There quite a few types& makes of these on the market ,however Sealey has a name to live up to, and this extractor pump does. [1] strong construction being a globe of non flexible plastic with well made moulded fittings [2] The pump and tubes are detachable and very easy to operate ,when full it can be sealed with the supplied caps , [3] IT can be used to transfer all liquids, easy to wash out fit back in box for storing ,Holds just less than a Gallon.

    Repair before use

    It works alright, but the handle came off the suction pump when I had the diff 1/4 emptied. Send it back with a note of complaint or fix? I opted for the latter, and put 3 self tapping screws through the pump handle to hold it in place. NOW it works fine. Why wasn't this done on manufacture? The glue used to stick it on is not up to being doused in gear oil then you have knob in one hand and pump in the other. Such a silly thing to go wrong.

    Quality product but mis-described in my view.

    The smallest pipe supplied claims to be 5mm. This is actually the internal bore, the pipe itself is 8mm diameter (The other pipe claims to be 8mm and is actually around 11mm external). The dipstick in my van measures 4.5mm across so I had to buy an extra 5mm (external) pipe to stick into the pipe supplied to drain the oil. The product seems of quality, but surely the external measurement of the pipes (they call them probes) are the measurement that matters? If they'd stated the correct pipe sizes then I would have bought a different product that comes with the required size.
