    This does indeed fit a Vw golf/vento vr6 2.8l 12v engine. One of the drill holes was very near the edge so I’d say the quality and condition isn’t quite 100% here but as price was reasonable it’s ok. You really need to keep and reattach the original heat shield at the top (above manifold) as the plastic air intake tube gets very hot otherwise. I’ve purchased heat resistant plastic paint spray and adhered this to the underside of the intake section for extra precaution.
