    Absolutely first rate customer service: questions about the mouthpiece were answered quickly and with dead-on accuracy; a tracking # was issued, and I was kept apprised of any delays. The mouthpiece was packed safely and securely, which is how it arrived. While I'm not sure it's right for me, that's a personal thing. There is nothing about it that wasn't described. It's too soon to know, anyway. I have to try different reeds and ligatures; experiment, and just live with it a while! THANK YOU!

    Best cost benefit, can't recommend more!

    I used Larsen AD and Spirocore Tungstenium G and Larsen Magnacore C before these, and I'm not going back to them. A set of these is half the price of a single C Spirocore, and the G and C are just as good as my previous set. Really, I swapped between them and couldn't really tell which was better. The D sound clear on my cello. Only the A string is a bit dry, but for the price difference I won't ever buy Larsen again unless I become a soloist... Still the A string sounds very very good, Larsen will sound some 5% warmer but that's it. I think this Kaplan A string even has more power than a Larsen! There are no other strings that I know of that have better cost benefit than these! Unless they happen to not sound good on your cello, but they sound amazing on mine. Look no further, just get ...

    The right string for this instrument

    My violin is a bit on the dark and less responsive side. It's good to have strings that will give more clarity as they age/wear. I particularly like the balance and transition between the E and the A strings. No strings are for all instruments, so do your homework.

    Helicore light gauge violin strings

    Nice strings. A little tougher to intonate than medium gauge but nice tone and they hold their tuning well.
