I bought this Fotodiox adapter together with a Sony Alpha 9 frame. I have a large collection of Canon and Sigma EF lens. I was very disappointed as I realized that none of the lens works properly with this adapter. No F value transmission and no AF value transmission at all. First I thought that the new Sony Camera is broken , so I spent long time to figure out where is the problem. Next week I travel for a Safari and I felt myself creazy to buy the new camera. Finaly I went to the local Sony Dealer for help. I tried the camera with Sigma MC 11 adapter.. It works properly with all the lenses. I bought it. The Sony A9 works good to fill all my expectations. Fotodiox made me two days nightmare. I will send it back.

Mainly bought to adapt Sigma Canon mount lenses to Sony A7r II. Fotodiox servers now only as adapter, but I wouldn`t call it a smart adapter. AF is not available on non of 3 lenses I tried to an adapt: Canon 50mm, Zoom 135mm and Sigma 18-35mm. Not even in great studio light conditions. I am keeping it only because I am used to work with AF, but I wouldn`t buy it again.

Works exactly as it says - provides a very good fitting contact on both lens and body sides

Just works with all my canon lenses on a Sony A7 iii body, including AF. Brilliant.

Short summary: I am using it on a Sony a6000. AF not working, as expected on that camera. (no adaptors do). Aperture working on all my lenses. (Sigma and Tamron) This makes the lenses usable with manual focusing, like I wanted.
