Emad batter head, EQ reso head, EQ mat and beater patches! I have the best bass drum sound EVER with my Vintage 90's Premier kit!!! I've tried it all before; pillows, towels, foam, tape, I've never had such an awesome bass sound in my life! Everyone who come to my studio have confirmed what I'm telling you! All said and done, it was about $110 upgrade. Nevermind the small price, just buy their stuff and do your sound a huge favour!Emad batter head, EQ reso head, EQ mat and beater patches! I wanted a bass drum muffler that didnt look like a laundry basket in my bass drum. This product looked good. I wasted my money. It doesn't sou d good after numerous adjustments. A rolled towel or small pillow is better

Tame Your Bass Drum Frequencies
I use the Evans EQ Pad in three of my bass drums (16 X 20", 16 X 22", 16 X 24"). I typically run an unported reso head on all my bass drums because I want to hear the tone of each drum. I do not like stuffing my kick drums full of "laundry" producing a dead thud. I want to hear the TONE of each drum. The primary reason I like this product is it spans a 16" bass drum with virtually no muffling; I just have them mounted to absorb internal frequencies. I recently switched my batter heads to Aquarian Force I clears, so I now have the pad angled at about 30 degrees against the batter head. In my 20" and 22" kick drums I've added a second EQ pad (they velcro together to one another) and I have the second EQ Pad slightly touching the reso head for a little bit of dampening. My 24" kick is ... I use the Evans EQ Pad in three of my bass drums (16 X 20", 16 X 22", 16 X 24"). Thank You, Very Muffle!
When I received this pad, I was NOT happy! It is very thin, very lightweight and did not appear as if it would do what I wanted it to do. It also did not match the pad that I had purchased, previously. HOWEVER, I took a chance an installed the pad and, MAN!! I couldn't be happier!! Works like a charm and just a good as the larger pad I bought previously!
