    Easy to set up even if TV brand is not listed on code sheet.

    Excellent, easy to use. Comes complete with instructions and a huge list of codes needed for various tv and device brands. Also has a self-scan function which was useful to find a code within its own memory storage for my obscure branded tv. Quick to set up and has all the basic functions needed to bring an old spare tv back into usage.

    Unfortunately it does not work

    Place batteries in the remote and work through the instructions as read in supplied document. Have all the codes for my Technic TV but the remote will not actually work. Followed all the instructions it even indicates that the code has worked, as indicated in the instructions. However when endeavouring to switch channels or switch off TV ...... nothing happens. There are two codes for the TV make but neither of the codes make any difference.

    Did the job

    I needed a remote for my Denon surround sound amp which is quite a niche product but this remote comes with a huge list of product names including VCR's (!), DVD players TV's and other units. You just work through the list of numbers for your product make and hey presto! It worked for me. A compact remote that does the job. It has separate buttons for six different things. (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT, AUX, COM, HIFI and TNT) and so you could program this one remote to control everything. At this price it's a no brainer.

    Tricky to programme but works fine.

    Unfortunately our TV brand name wasn't one of those listed in the instructions so we had to do a general search which took about 20 minutes. I didn't hit the set button quick enough, you only get about half a second to do this, so I had to do another twenty minute search. The remote control worked fine once it was tuned in correctly.

    good price works well

    works fine except it wont switch to sky and work on my sky box so still have to use two remotes,you get a sheet with tv brands and go through them until you find right code to set up,didnt take long,price was good
