The radio has great sound quality. The CD player in these older Bose radios usually doesn't work but the radio has a AUX in jack for hooking up a CD player or Ipod. From a price standpoint I think it's better to buy a radio knowing that the CD player doesn't work and pay less. If you pay more for a unit where the CD player still works that probably will be for a short time since alot of these radios are almost 20 years old and the CD function will soon fail.

Decent everyday background music device in a small package. Very easy to use (wife friendly) including the remote. Boomy bass if placed in a corner. Smoother bass away from walls and corners. Built well for everyday use.

I have owned a Bose wave radio for over 20 years, and it is still my bedside alarm clock, and favorite listening device in my bedroom. I have an Echo Dot connected to the Aux input. Since my very positive experience with the Wave radio, I have always desired the Acoustic Wave System II, but could not justify a 1K expenditure when I already owned high end stereos. When I saw the Acoustic Wave System II for a very good price, I could not resist. I am very satisfied with the sound quality, everything works including the CD. The listing did not include the remote. I purchased a new remote on eBay, and the remote works great. I attached a splitter to the RCA aux jack for two inputs, a multi-device Bluetooth receiver, and an Amazon Echo Dot. Now all my streaming Music, Talk Shows, Sports Talk Show are played on the Acoustic Wave II, and all sound great. I could have used the Bluetooth input on the Dot to stream from my plethora of other devices, but I did not want to be constantly changing the Bluetooth connection on the Dot. With the multi-user Bluetooth input receiver, switching between input devices is automatic. If you are in the market for an excellent, small factor speaker with excellent audio, consider the Acoustic Wave Music System II. Even though it looks large, it is easy to carry with the built-in handles. I don’t believe Bose still sells the Acoustic Wave Music System II, but there are usually several listed on eBay whenever I checked.Read full review

Love the Bose Acoustic II System! I already have one in my family room. Bought this one to use on my back patio for parties, etc. Very portable and terrific sound. Came with the 5 CD changer which, for me, is a must! This particular system was pre-owned. Very light use and in like-new condition. The seller went out of her way to make sure the system was checked out and in great shape before she shipped it. Saved about half of the retail price new! In summation ...... great system, great price, great seller! I'm a happy dude!

In college I had Infinity Studio Monitor speakers, the ones they used when making recordings. I never thought I would get close again, but Bose has done themselves proud. The sound is great. It was a fantastic buy and now I can really "listen" to my music!
