    Sony WiFi USB Dongle

    Made my old Sony Bravia (2.4Ghz band wifi) like new! The ability to add 5.4Ghz wifi to my Sony extends the useful life for many more years.

    Making a Sony TV smart

    The UWA-BR100 works well but is expensive for what it does. I suspect a generic dongle would probably work. I didn't want to take a chance on taking a generic dongle to Uruguay where the TV is located which had a UWA-BR100 which worked well before it failed after about one year of service. There are two TV's there both with the same type of dongle one failed and the other is still working. From my experience, the dongle has a 50% chance of failing in one year.

    It works!

    I believe Sony makes this harder than it should be and they charge way too much for this simple device, but it does work. Making this proprietary is ridiculous. C'mon Sony, you should know better than that.

    One less cord hanging down.

    I received this used device in good working condition. It connected to my wireless effortlessly. It's working fine and the connection speed is fast enough to run my streaming media on my Sony Bravia with little or no buffering. Had to unplug it one time as it seemed to cause my Bravia to have some intermittant motherboard issues. TV worked fine after I removed the device, and no issues since I've re-plugged it back in.

    Worked as expected!

    replaced one that I had thrown away inadvertently. Needed a new one to watch netflix on tv with video player...worked well, just like the orginal!
