Perfect for a toddler
My 17 month old needs books to be short and simple. She enjoys this one. It is giving some basic elements of the "nativity scene" and ends with baby Jesus. We also purchased the "God Made Christmas" dvd and she loves that as well. I will probably pull this out at Christmastime the next few years for us to read off and on. I saw another review, probably on Amazon, comparing the text to the lyrics "I said the cow, etc." It is similar. Each page starts with "I am/ we are ____" and has a short rhyme for a star, the shepherds, the wise men, a cow, a ram, a donkey, Mary, and ends with baby Jesus.
