Our warming drawer was misbehaving, the new power module has sorted it
Our warming drawer was misbehaving - heating up for a few minutes then stopping heating. We removed the drawer from the kitchen unit (not trivial, as one of the ovens sits on the warming drawer). We then eliminated the connector at the back of the warming drawer as the source of the problem - it was still clearly connecting (I measured the resistance with the power switched off) but the electronics were not supplying mains to the drawer. This can only be done (I think) with the drawer out of the kitchen unit and the back off. So, we bought this new power control module (it's the only electronic bit in the drawer, it seems) and fitted this with the warming drawer back in the kitchen unit (with the power off). And now, our warming drawer works happily. We are supposed to calibrate the ... Our warming drawer was misbehaving - heating up for a few minutes then stopping heating. Genuine Part
Appears to be a Genuine part and has fixed my Neff warming drawer issue of overheating. I suspect the relay stuck in the on position and didn’t go off when the thermostat tried to turn off. I note it is a replacement part, with grey relays instead of blue, hopefully these will now last. Quite easy to replace: unplug from mains, pull off selector switch, remove 2 screws holding control cover, remove 2 screws holding board in place, unplug the 2 connector leads, install new board. Saved £100 call out and £50 off board price. Appears to be a Genuine part and has fixed my Neff warming drawer issue of overheating.
