About this product

Product Information

THE GLOBAL NON-FICTION PHENOMENON OF 2018 - now in paperback Jordan Peterson has become one of the world's most electrifying and influential public thinkers, with his lectures on topics ranging from the Bible to mythology to romantic relationships capturing audiences of tens of millions. His startling message about the value of personal responsibility and the search for meaning has resonated powerfully around the world. In this book, he combines the hard-won truths of ancient wisdom with decades of clinical experience to provide twelve profound and practical principles, from setting your house in order before criticising others to comparing yourself to who you were yesterday, not to someone else today. Gripping, thought-provoking and deeply rewarding, 12 Rules for Life offers an antidote to the chaos in our lives- eternal truths applied to our modern problems.

Don't hesitate, don't even think about the cost. Buy it. And quickly, time is running out... This book, containing many familiar words in a particular order is compelling, insightful, practical, revealing, astonishing in its direct approach to subjects that seem to confound this generation – likely generations before us. Jordan B Peterson is a celestial being, sent on behalf of forces we know not – just for you and just for me. 12 Rules for Life is truly an antidote to the chaos, often the place we find ourselves, the here and now. And by the way (not that you've got this far), we write to communicate, first so that we can understand for ourselves, also for others. That's another one of JBP's – can't thank him enough... Wisdom and substance for a age of plenty that has a depleted, starving ...

  • Self development ....

Enjoying immensely although the Bible references I'm not too familiar with. Well researched as you would expect from the Author. Beneficial for all ages. Which I'd been brought up knowing 1% of this information , still not too late to learn . I'm 60. Safest thing is there are too many males indoctrinated through bad surroundings, poor parenting and over worked teachers who gave up because their role is not to be parenting it's to teach . Yet there are whole schools where you can't find one child not damaged. I can only pray that these kids get the love and affection that will bring them peace . Otherwise some of them will be reading books like this later in their life if they choose and have the courage to get out of the quagmire of a life they didn't deserve .

  • Not for everyone

Mixed reviews on the author BUT it's not a literal guide or rule book . Thought provoking , funny , well put together . Quality and value product . After reading keep or burn , that's the choice ...RULE 13 .

  • Absolute Must read

I have watched and followed Jordan Peterson for over 2 years. As a Clinical Psychologist, I feel Jordan 's dissecting of life issue's are constructed extremely well. He explores all theories and always provide a rational element of any argument. He is a realist and very passionate of the good to all. I would highly recommend this book, along with his second edition as a great ambassador to everyday human life and behaviour.

  • Help your self to a better life.

I wish I have read this book 20 years ago. I am learning to unburden myself of so much that was causing me grief, anxiety and to move forward to a more contented life. Thank you Mr Peterson.
