Great it has the option of shorting the cable, I brought this to make my hall light look even better. More images when done. As you can see in the image, this is going to look a 100 time better when installed. (I know its a cool lamp shade) Nobody likes the white plastic with bayonet fixing, E27 are so much better.

These fitting have made a world of difference to our living room lights, they look fab. One small gripe, the ceiling rose covers are a bit on the small size making them difficult to fit over the existing connector and wiring.
