Great, but not without niggles.
Bought this to replace a "myjack aux Bluetooth receiver". Good build quality, no option to switch unit off, which in this day and age of energy paranoia is somewhat strange? Lights on the front are way too bright so put a sticker over it. Sound quality and volume output far better than unit it replaced but not CD quality, good enough for streaming though. Biggest downside was the LDAC Bluetooth output on my phone was unstable and I had to contact the DAC manufacturer and mess about downloading software to update it. This should be done by the distributer/retailer IMO. However, to be fair the update worked and I am a happy customer. A convenient way to add bluetooth to your old school hi-fi.
Simple plugnplay. Always recognises your bluetooth source and verbally confirms the codec being used. Sound quality very acceptable and as good as can be expected from Spotify with Aptx Classic. Not the device's fault but as shame Android 10 on my phone won't allow me to save the higher performance codecs installed in the on my phone. A convenient way to add bt to your old school hi-fi.

Brings vintage audio to the 21st Century.
I use a vintage amp from the late 70's. Having a turntable, cd player and tuner is my main listening, but I wanted to bring modern benefits to my set up without having to purchase a new full setup. So I researched dedicated dacs and this seemed to fit the bill. Good value with excellent build quality and connectivity. I didn't want to spend over £1000 as I only wanted to dip my toe to find out if this set up could work with high enough quality. The sound is brilliant for such a small device and for so little money. I am truely amazed to be honest. I can now connect my S10+ and list to all my mp3's plus connect to my streaming service and get pretty much an endless supply of music. I ensure nothing is lower in quality than 256k and sound is as good as cd. Happy with my purchase and will ... I use a vintage amp from the late 70's.
