Quick delivery. Boxed with instructions but a big however is one the measuring cup. I’m 74 and l wear glasses so how do you read the measurements on the cup. I ended up using a black pen on it. I use this daily plus for hard boiled eggs when having a salad and that is straight forward but not so trying unto work out for tgree poached eggs.lts 7 days now and it’s still hit and miss.

Good piece of kit
I bought this as I had trouble getting an egg poacher for my induction hob. It boils eggs perfectly and poaches too but poacher cups are triangular, small and deep so you can only use small eggs. As a result It takes a while to cook poached eggs and they are hard to take out of poacher. I will keep practising.

To summarise, it cooks eggs but you need to find the optimum level of water yourself, top is flimsy
I've had egg cookers since the 1970's when I bought my first one in Germany, it lasted 10 years and was solidly built. However, the machines we have today are not so good, the top on this particular product is flimsy and doesn't sit very well on the egg rack. The water measuring is a bit out, I put in water for three soft eggs and got three semi raw eggs so now have to use Medium 5 eggs to get a soft egg that is cooked through also the marking on the water measure could be better hard to see especially for old farts like me. The last egg cooker I bought in January had no buzzer to say if the eggs were cooked, this one has and is what I would expect them all to have but some manufacturers don't seem to think it important. Limited functions
This was a disapointing purchase because of it's limitations in controlling the settings, there needs to be a time setting or at least a auto switch -off when the water as boiled away, the buzzer is not the solution if you have left the egg boiler working in the kitchen alone unattended - it needs a timer device to turn the cooker -off , it's a really obvious short- coming!! NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE
Firstly i bought this for poaching 4 eggs for breakfast every morning , the poaching tray isn't NON STICK therefore the eggs stick in it and it takes FOREVER to clean so after 2 attempts at using it for poaching .....the poaching tray ended in the bin . I then tried it for boiled eggs , i wanted 5 but the instructions and the timer only worked for TWO !!!! So instead of medium boiled eggs i ended with UNCOOKED RUNNY EGGS !!! Then theres the steamer why would you want a steamer that will only just fit a large apple in ? ? So you guessed it the lot went into the bin. This product was as much use as a CHOCOLATE FIREGUARD .So save your 14.99 and spend it much more wisely than i did .
