Light years ahead of the old ones.
It was always a nuisance with the old ones that had either a wing-nut on one side, which limited the use to one side only invariably. Or, there was a sunken screw that did away with the above but, you had to carry a screwdriver. This wonderful bit of kit is not only well made, but it has the locking device at the end of the handle. Making the above problems obsolete. Fantastic. Bahco Sliding bevel 9574-200
This has been on my list of wants for a while, recently bought one. What attracted me was the design, it's a very slick looking and very well designed tool. The blade is stainless steel and the stock is aluminium with a plastic insert. Easy to find amongst the dust etc. The only downside in my opinion which does not affect its operation in anyway is it's made in China. That was the only reason for the 4 star rating.This has been on my list of wants for a while, recently bought one.
