Wow, it was touch and go between a more expensive one. Glad i picked this, i have just made a joint leg of pork (hot) and it sliced through it like butter lovely even pieces, and this was with the duel blade on which was how it came. Could not ask for anything better as my hands don't work very well. This is the answer for me, solid and small enough to fit on top of the worktop.

Compact machine.
This is a decent little slicer, I would have liked a bit more oomph for the money, as it is pretty basic, and has a low rpm. It will cut bread, meats and cheese, without issued, thought I think if they were still a little frozen, it may struggle due to the rpm.

This machine is easy to use and reliable. It slices Ham from paper thin to any thickness, you prefer.
This machine is very quiet, and can be used anywhere. I have used it on Gammon, Bread and cutting up veg. Cleaning is very simple, just wipe it down with a damp cloth.
