Its pearlescent not matte.
I thought it was gonna be a matte white eyeliner, I have the black one and it is as such, but this is a white pearl/metallic eyeliner. Doesn't really go on the waterline very well, or maybe I can't see it right since it is opalescent. Doesn't line the eyes well either. Maybe it can be used as an eye shadow base or brow highlight color but that's not what I needed it for.
