The topper proved a soft but supportive covering on top of an existing sprung mattress. I suffer from back ache on firm mattresses and this topper really helps to provide a comfortable support - back is already improving.

I got it to go on top of our firm mattress that was giving me back and shoulder ache, and after a week of sleeping on it, I'm happy to report that it's done its job! It arrived quickly and well-packaged and was easy for one person to unroll and set up. My only wish was that it didn't come wrapped in plastic, given its other sustainability credentials, but it's a minor downside. Highly recommended!
