Super happy with these rods. I ordered x2 for stalking on rivers and for the odd occasion when I go out on the boats. I was sceptical when I see the price, I must admit. But having said that… now they’ve arrived, I’m truly shocked! Build quality considering the size and price is fantastic, great craftsmanship!     Vastly exceeded my expectations.

    Received this today and have already returned from the beach (where I caught a nice 2kg sea bass). I knew it would be an OK rod set, based on research, but I didn't expect it to be this good! The reel is great quality - good large size, decent weight, feels very solid. The action is extremely smooth. The rod itself is a typical telescopic setup. If this was for sale in the 50-60 quid range I wouldn't be surprised at all. Great value for money.

    Decent all-rounder telescopic rod and reel at bargain price

    A short beach-caster/pier or surf rod, that can also be used for spinning heavier lures (I recommend 1-3oz). It packs small enough to carry in the car and use when an opportunity presents itself - like with cameras, the best one's the one you have with you at the right moment! The £20 price including a reasonable reel is unbeatable.

    Great little travel rod.

    I don't know whether I was expecting great things for less than a tenner, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is well presented in it's suede feel slip. It feels pretty well built, and well balanced. I've only used it the once, and haven't caught anything with it yet, but it feels comfortable in the hand. I keep it in the car, for when we go on our little adventures, it literally takes up no space whatsoever. I'm expecting big things from this little rod. Can't wait to use it again.

    A nice capable little rod.. Ideal for the casual angler and where long distance casting is not essential.. Saying that 70 yards is easy with a 3oz weight.. Purchased as secondary beach kit kept in the in car boot.. Would recommend and great value..
