    Good for holidays or the forgetful

    Bought this for when I was away on holiday to keep a newly seeded lawn moist and probably would have worked well if it hadn't rained most days so wasn't needed. Have mainly used the water now feature rather than the scheduled times but they seem very flexible and can be adjusted quickly for dryer spells - if we ever get any. The water now feature only kicks in when the unit talks back to the hub (either every minute or every 20 minutes to maximise battery life) so it isn't any use to chase the neighbours cat off you lawn! Comes with adopters for different size taps and at the price I payed (£70) it is a real bargain and my little boy loves it!

    Good, but...

    I would expect something more sophisticated for the price, Requires quite a lot care dedicatedby the owner. Should perhaps make easy decision automatically (like: stop watering if it rains(. Second problem: there are no updates in meteo report, it shows the same temperature morning-day-night, althought it varies, of course. I suggest the android interfece be upgraded. Otherwise-seems being of a good quality.

    Great, provided you like both gardening and computing. Hozelock have tried to make the setup as simple as possible but like all computers sometimes it can be tricky. I own 2, these devices are generally plug and play but if it plays up you get stuck trying to figure out how to factory reset.
