Great for hob use
Incredible value fryer , no need for expensive electric fryer as goes on your hob and is heat controlled from the same. Another great point , light weight and easily stored. gladly recommend this product . Ideal capacity for two persons. Have had heavier iron products before but these took too long to heat up. Importantly follow the instructions on supplied box noting not to over heat for obvious reasons !Incredible value fryer , no need for expensive electric fryer as goes on your hob and is heat controlled from the same. Its a good product only thing is when in use the handles of the basket fall into the oil so have to use wooden spoon to get basket out of hot fat

Very dangerous Chip Pan
This is extremely dangerous in the way it is designed to be used. I do not know how it has passed safety checks. The problem begins having put the chips in the basket and lowered into the pan. The lid does not sit over the basket handles if you leave them outwards and if you leave them in then they are sitting on top of the chips heating up in the hot oil! How then, do you get them out to lift pan? If you leave them out and balance the lid on top they still heat up so are unable to be handled without oven gloves and the handles flop about in different directions so that you can't get hold of both at once. the pan had good and bad reviews so I decided to give it a go as it was a reasonable price. It will now just be used as a pan - without the basket. So I now have a pan I didn't need. Not ... This is extremely dangerous in the way it is designed to be used. not what I want
It is quite good, but I was really after stain less steel. I am not a fan of non-stick as you can not use metal utensils. But never the less I have requested one that i want. This will be a very handy stand by, or pass on to a family member. Cheers

Waste of money!
Should of read the other reviews before buying!!, Used twice and then binned it!! The basket is useless because the handles drop into the hot fat so then it is not easy to lift out and one the second use the handle unhooked on one side!! You get what you pay for so do yourself a favour and spend a bit more and get something decent!
