    Fully featured, compact, well built and from a trusted brand. It's an intelligent charger as good as any at 3 times the price. All the features with simple set-up. 4 Amps peak charging rate means its plenty enough for an overnight charge to all but the largest of 100Ah batteries. Trickle charge and automtic re-conditiong come as standard.

    Sparks when being connected.

    This battery charger works well and is easy to use. I like the voltage display. One downside is that when the crocodile clips are being connected to the battery terminals, and BEFORE the charger is turned on at the mains switch, there is a spark at the battery terminal when the second clip is connected. I have not seen this with any other charger I have used. Furthermore, a spark could be hazardous in the engine compartment.

    Good value, easy to use, versatile.

    Appears to do the job well. I'm hoping that this will extend the life of our car batteries in cars that don't get a great deal of use. It will not charge a battery quickly, (especially a 6 volt) but for an overnight trickle charge it's fine and it's programmed smart charging should protect an enhanced flooded battey (cars with stop/start) with no risk of overcharging. Also suitable for Absorbent Glass Mat car batteries.

    Doing the job well so far, and at a good price.

    This product was bought to keep my Mazda MX5 ND battery charged during long periods of non-use, such as the Covid19 lockdown, and for the winter months when it won't be used. A smart charger was appropriate because of the modern electronic circuitry, plus there is a substantial amount of 'dark current' drain on the battery even when not being started or driven (anti-theft system etc.). The charger has adjustable settings for 6V and 12V batteries, plus car and motorcycle applications. Plug in and forget about it; the charger will apply a 'maintenance charge' when it detects a depleted battery voltage. The charger has been working satisfactorily for two weeks since purchase, with an LCD display showing the battery state.

    Great product

    I've already left feedback. I haven't used it which is good as it means I haven't had a problems with my car battery. It looks great - nice a compact and good design - much better than my last charger which my son borrowed and has never brought back which is why I've bought a new one!!
