Do it right with the genuine stuff!
Originally i bought a different brand carpet shampoo from the same seller for my Kirby. It cleaned the carpet where it touched it but because of the design of the Kirby system, it works best with a foam. The "other brand" did not foam as the Kirby shampoo does. I'd already left shampooing the carpet for too long thanks to a few missing/broken bits on the shampoo system so the "other brand" shampoo left clean streaks. This is when i decided (after replacing the damaged/broken bits before i tried anything) to buy the genuine Kirby shampoo. Works a treat! Still needs a couple more goes to bring it up as it should be but i know i can do that now. It's false economy buying the cheaper stuff, you'll end up buying the Kirby stuff to do it right in the end anyway!Originally i bought a different brand carpet shampoo from the same seller for my Kirby. I have owned a Kirby for nearly 30 years now & have upgraded to a newer model in more recent years. I always shampoo my own carpets & I always use this genuine product. There are a number of copies out there that are deemed suitable for use with Kirby machines. However, they don't get anywhere near the performance levels of the genuine article & I would advise anyone not to even bother trying anything else. Bright clean fresh carpets
It never fails to impress me, how clean and fresh this product, with the aid of my Kirby, makes my carpets. Would never use any other carpet shampoo. It really is dry foam. Completely dry after an hour.
