The Boondock Saints is an action comedy movie that follows the lives of two young brothers who are vigilantes who work in the name of justice. Pursued by the enigmatic Paul Smecker (played by Willem Dafoe), the two brothers (played by Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus) team up with their friend to rid the city of Boston of its evil criminals. With the police breathing down their neck and a city full of corrupt people, the two brothers challenge fate and the justice system in this action thriller. As Irish fraternal twins, the two brothers keep to tradition through prayer and the placement of coins on their dead victims. The Boondock Saints is an action comedy due to its dark humor and incredible fire fight scenes.
